Product Description
The Prima 4 Duo ID printer has single or double sided options available offering amazing print quality, with Magnetic stripe, Barcode, Contact & Contactless encoding options. The ID card image is printed from the YMCK dye film onto a clear retransfer film in a "reverse image", and is then laminated onto the card surface.
The image is protected from scratching and fading by the clear film layer. The printer also benefits from a built-in USB and Ethernet connection, large capacity stock drawer, with capability of printing up to 100 cards per hour. The Prima 4 range is the ideal solution for fast, secure and reliable printing of cards.
Encoding Options: Magnetic Stripe; smart card encoding; contact chip; MIFARE; DESFire and iClass. Other Smart Card encoders available on request, please contact us for these varients.

Delivery is a key part of Universal’s service. We will always give the most realistic and achievable timescales before we take your order.
In order to help provide better service to our customers we stock most popular memory, microprocessor and contactless cards. We also hold readers, printers, consumables and card accessories to enable quick delivery. This allows us to offer shorter lead-times, next day on stocked items to around three to four weeks for non-stock, including printed/personalized cards.
Furthermore, we package cards using outer corrugated cartons (capable of holding 500 cards at a time) to fully protect your order whilst in transit.
Please note that lead times will vary by product, specific requirements and stock availability. Delivery dates may also be affected by public/bank and local holidays.
If placing an order online, you may wish to contact us for confirmation of the delivery date. We will confirm stock levels within 24/48 hours where an order is placed on a working day.
Typical delivery times for stocked products are:-
