Richard Catterall joined the USC marketing department as an apprentice 18th months ago, eager to learn about the world of marketing and gain his marketing qualifications whilst applying the knowledge in a working environment.

After 18 months of hard work and study towards his Level 3 Digital Marketing Certificate, Richard has now qualified as a Digital Marketer. Throughout his course he had to show a variety of digital marketing skills from problem solving to customer service. Richard had to attend various courses, exams and produce a portfolio where he had to carry out three campaigns. In addition, Richard completed the Charted Institute of Marketing, certificate in marketing, level four where he was required to demonstrate the use of strategy and campaign planning.

‘It’s been really great to see Richard work hard to develop his marketing skills over the last 18 months, which has culminated in him achieving his level 3 certificate in digital marketing. Congratulations and good luck in your new position of digital marketing assistant at USC, Richard!’
