The Crescendo 144K FIPS Smart Card with MIFARE DESFire EV3 combines secure digital identity with advanced physical access capability in a single high-assurance credential. Featuring a FIPS 201-certified smart chip and integrated MIFARE DESFire EV3 contactless technology, this card supports secure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), PIV-compliant login, and deployment within Zero Trust frameworks.


Engineered to resist phishing and other identity-based attacks, the contact interface provides secure smart card logon, digital signature functionality, and certificate-based encryption. Simultaneously, the contactless DESFire EV3 element enables secure building access, transit integration, and canteen or print credit systems, with AES encryption and secure messaging.


This blank card is ideal for custom branding and printing. It can also be bundled with HID’s wider portfolio of Physical Access Technologies, including Seos®, iCLASS SE®, and Prox formats—creating a single credential for logical and physical access control.
