The FM4442 / FM4428 (a direct replacement for SLE4442/SLE4428 that was discontinued by Infineon) are one of the most popular memory chips in the market. The two chip types only differ in memory size and include EEPROM with Write Protect Function and Programmable Security Code (PSC).
Its contact configuration is in accordance with ISO standard 7816 (synchronous transmission) and it has a minimum of 100,000 write/erase cycles. Typical applications include customer loyalty cards, health cards, membership cards, school cards, vending cards, identity cards and access control.
