The HID Crescendo 4000 Contactless-Only Smart Card is a highly secure, FIDO2-enabled credential purpose-built for passwordless login, phishing-resistant MFA, and Zero Trust environments. Supporting both FIDO2 and FIDO U2F protocols, this smart card offers seamless tap-and-go authentication across desktops, browsers, and cloud applications—without drivers, middleware, or PIN entry.


This version includes a CUID (Card Unique Identifier) embedded within the chip for identity mapping, but with no visible CUID marking on the card surface—offering a clean, blank format that’s ideal for custom branding, secure issuance workflows, or environments where visual anonymity is preferred.


Delivered blank, the card is ready for bureau or on-site personalisation and works out-of-the-box with identity platforms like Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, Duo Security, and Google Workspace.
