The British Heart Foundation strives to fight for everybody who suffers from a heart condition, from supporting babies born with life-threatening heart problems, to the many parents and grandparents who survive a heart attack and continue with their lives enduring the daily struggles of heart failure. BHF research has helped support people’s lives; however, there are still many people that need their help.

On February 7th 2014, Universal Smart Cards ‘Ramped up the Red’ in order to raise money for extra research. The money generated totalled to £140.75, an increase of 281% of our £50.00 target. Each employee across the 3 UK offices donated a minimum of £2.00 each in order to wear red to work on the day. Homemade red themed cakes were also sold at the Kingfisher Business Centre in Lancashire, where USC’s northern division is based.

Amanda Hatton, Marketing Executive stated “We had an excellent day, all the team wore red, from red shoelaces to a red wig and the cakes made by Vicky, Rhianna and myself went down a treat. I am absolutely delighted we excelled our target so greatly, thank you to everyone for your donations.”
