The HID® Signo™ Reader 40, is a founding member of the Signo family of readers, having delivered tried and tested performance and reliability since its launch. This multi-technology, mobile-ready, wall switch mount reader brings a dynamic approach to secure access control and is designed to be versatile, powerful and connected for the future.

The HID Signo Reader 40 is designed for applications that require a wall switch mount card reader. It supports a wide range of contactless credentials (both 13.56MHz and 125KHz) in a variety of form factors including cards, fobs and mobile devices.

Connected for the Future

All Signo readers feature out-of-the-box support for Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for secure bidirectional communication. In addition, each reader is designed to be remotely managed without ‘sneakernet’ or the need to be physically touched.
