HID Biometric Manager

HID Biometric Manager software is available to download for free with each device. This software is on-premises server-based and can be used to configure and manage the reader, including firmware updates over the network and loading MOB or Elite keys in the field. The software also enables the enrollment of the user's fingerprint credentials for use with both 1:1 verification and 1:N identification authentication modes.

Single-point biometric enrollment

The launch of the HID Signo Biometric Reader 25B introduces an API for integration with HID’s partner’s access control software solutions. This enables a single point of biometric template enrollment through the access control system and the ability to push biometric templates to all connected devices simultaneously.
