ATA5577 (T5577) Tear Key Fobs

These T5577 Tear Keyfobs available in 5 different colours are a robust, low-cost solution for customers wanting to get away from standard ISO-sized cards. The fobs measure only 53 x 33mm. The fobs can be supplied in Black, Red, Yellow, Green and Blue outer housing. All colours contain a white circular face to make personalisation very visible. They can be fully personalised with either a full colour or single colour logo or card number or both. They are made from a strong Polycarbonate and can be easily threaded to a keyring.

Combining RFID technology with the popular T5577chip, this contactless keyfob can be used as if it is a standard card. T5577 has a frequency of 125KHz but its strength comes from the fact it is a re-writable card so it can flexibly imitate UID/card numbering of other 125KHz formats, making them easy to configure with compatible 125KHz readers. The full chip reference from Atmel (now Microchip) is ATA5577 (T5577 for short) and is compatible with T5557/ATA5567 and can also replace the e5551/T5551 in many common operations.
The technology is popular for physical access control to business premises and in hotels or applications in general where the fob number is read for identification purposes.
