About the MIFARE Classic® EV1 4K
The MIFARE Classic® EV1 4K card is part of the MIFARE Classic® range of cards from NXP. MIFARE Classic® cards are used in various applications, including public transport, access control and event ticketing. The MIFARE Classic® EV1 4K card has a 4K byte capacity divided into 32 sectors. Each sector has unique security access conditions that can be configured to allow read/write or read-only access.
The MIFARE Classic® EV1 4K card is compatible with all MIFARE® readers and is supported by many software applications. These smart cards are available with either a blank white PVC surface or a pre-printed graphic design.

All cards are quality checked in each stage; materials, specifications, collation, lamination, cutting and a final QC at the end, including a 100% chip test. Cards contain a full copper wire antenna to give excellent read distances in the field.
The MIFARE Classic® EV1 4k contains a Unique Identifier (UID) that some refer to as the Card Serial Number. This can be configured as a 4 Byte NUID or a 7 Byte UID. The most popular (by far!) is the 4Byte NUID which is compatible with most installers. Should you need a magstripe, we have shown the option of having a 2,750Oe standard Hi-Co Magstripe or a 4,000Oe Magstripe if required.
