Universal Smart Cards Launch the Java Card developer kit!

Smart card specialist, Universal Smart Cards have launched the exclusive developer kit for Java Card. The state-of-the-art tool comes as a result of an innovative partnership between Universal Smart Cards and German semiconductor and systems solution manufacturer, Infineon.

The kit is designed to work with the latest Java Card platform from Infineon, the Oracle Java Card OS Edition 2 product incorporates the award-winning microprocessor Infineon SLE78 chip. The kit can be utlilsed by organisations worldwide, with numerous multinational companies already placing orders for the tool.

The Java Card kit includes; three dual interface sample Oracle Java cards, a premium HID Omnikey 5422 dual interface card reader, product datasheets, sample applets and the software development toolkit that allows the user to develop their cards.
