These NTAG 213 PPS Insert Tags are extremely versatile and offer rugged protection from harsh environments or high heat temperatures. Originally designed for use in laundry and dry-cleaning processes, they have been adopted in a range of markets ranging from asset tracking, inventory management, livestock tracking, gambling, industrial automation, and access control. They measure only 20mm in diameter and 3mm in thickness making them easy to insert into a wide range of third-party packaging.

NTAG 213 has been developed by NXP for NFC applications and comply with NFC Forum Type 2 Tag as well as ISO/IEC 14443A.

Features of NTAG 213:
  • EEPROM: 180 bytes, organized in 45 pages of 4 byte per page
  • 26 bytes reserved for manufacturer and configuration data
  • 34 bits used for the read-only locking mechanism
  • 4 bytes available as capability container
  • 144 bytes user programmable read/write memory
